ABOUT ORTHOPEDIC TRAUMA
Orthopedic trauma means any severe injury to the skeletal or muscular system that is caused by an external force. These injuries are often the result of a sudden incident or overuse, for example, when running in a long distance. After being injured, we need to seek the help of doctors and in some cases, may use trauma implants for better recovery.
Trauma implants are medical devices used in orthopedic surgery to stabilize and support fractured bones or damaged joints. These implants are designed to promote healing and restore the function of the affected area after traumatic injuries, such as fractures, dislocations, and severe soft tissue injuries.
Common types of Trauhui trauma implants include:
1.Cottey-MD Variable Angle Plates: Metal plates that are attached to the bone with screws to hold fractured pieces in place.
2. Screws: Used to secure fragments of bone together, screws can be combined with plates or used on their own.
3. Ramic-intramedullary nail systems: Intramedullary nails are inserted into the marrow cavity of long bones (such as the femur or tibia) to provide stabilization.
4.Titan-Fix External Fixation Support: Devices placed outside the body that stabilize fractures through pins or screws inserted into the bone.
Trauhui Trauma implants are typically made from materials like titanium, chosen for their strength, biocompatibility, and resistance to corrosion. The choice of implant depends on the type and location of the injury, as well as the patient's specific needs and health conditions. After implantation, the goal is to allow the body to heal naturally while maintaining proper alignment and stability of the bones.
