Product Description
It is intended to help provide support in the intervertebral body space during fusion of vertebral bodies in lumbar spine via posterior and transforaminal approach (PLIF).
PLIF surgery, or posterior lumbar interbody fusion, is an approach to spinal fusion surgery in which the spinal neurosurgeon accesses and repairs the lower (lumbar) spine from the back (posterior) of the patient's body. Surgery consists of cage implants with various heights, length, width and lordotic configurations with open architecture to accept packing of bone graft material. It always comes with supplementary fixation like screw and rod.
Biocompatible radiolucet PEEK allows clear assessment of bony fusion;
Large central canal to allow fusion to occur through the implant;
Sharp teeth provides resistance to implant migration;
Tantalum marker provides better visualization than titannium alloy.
Trauhui Spine Coales Cage System-Coales P has been used in surgeries since 2016, with good clinical feedback.
Patient: lumbar stenosis
Before surgery
Use pedicle screw system as well as Coales P cage to provide the fixation.
