What is XLIF ?

Extreme lateral interbody fusion (XLIF) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that treats spinal disorders and back or leg pain. It's a relatively new approach to lumbar (low back) spinal fusion surgery. It always comes up with 

supplementary fixation like plate and screw.
