It is intended to help provide support in the intervertebral body space during fusion of vertebral bodies in lumbar spine via transforaminal approach (TLIF).

What is TLIF?

Transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) is a type of spinal fusion surgery that treats problems from the lower back disc . During the procedure, a surgeon removes part of the spinal disc between two vertebrae and replaces it with a cage, screws, and rods. Surgery consists of cage implants with various heights, length, width and lordotic configurations with open architecture to accept packing of bone graft material.
